Welcome to Wholeheartedly Daring!

Courage.  Joy.  Connection.  Creativity.  Authenticity.  Compassion.  Resilience.

These are all qualities that most of us want to experience in our lives, and sometimes there seems to be an invisible barrier that prevents us from living into all of who we are meant to be.  The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ curriculums, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, provide important insights into what hinders us from embracing all of we are and from fully living the life that is important to us.

Here you’ll find information about the Daring Way™ and Rising Stong™ groups and original workshops facilitated by Heidi Stern, LCSW, CDWF (Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator)

Group Details: Women who have experienced complex negative dynamics in their relationship including betrayal of trust, abandonment, verbal and/or emotional abuse, a partners chronic and untreated addiction(s) often have trouble in moving forward after that relationship ends. It can be difficult for the woman to trust herself and to be able to identify her own feelings and needs. Difficulties with feelings of low self-esteem, shame, emotional dysregulation and a variety of physical issues may be present when the relationship ends.

This group will focus on creating a safe space for women to learn the tools to rebuild their relationship with themselves and others after experiencing relational trauma. Utilizing the Daring Greatly curriculum by Dr. Brene’ Brown, participants will learn skills and daily practices that transform the way we live, love, and lead.   Challenging topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness are explored, as well as the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back will be explored in a safe and confidential setting. This is not group therapy but a didactic, experiential and collaborative group experience
